This data set consists of all known federal lands for the Gulf of Mexico study area. Federal lands include national forests, parks, wildlife refuges, management areas, indian reservations, military facilities, and other public lands. The lands' boundaries were compiled from different federal agencies.
Purpose:
To display all known federal lands for the Gulf of Mexico region (Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida).
