Abstract:

This data set consists of overlays of several source data sets consisting of 1) LCA 2000 Land/water Classification data, 2) the 2001 Vegetative Marsh Type data, and 3) the 1993 LA GAP Landcover Classification data. The source data sets were selectively overlaid to create a composite data set reflecting current land/water and marsh type conditions for the LCA Desktop Modeling effort. The data were initially aggregated into 23 classes and further refined to nineteen classes.
